How to List Your Home:

Note: Read through the following three steps before beginning the listing process, as it is designed so you are taken directly from one step to another.

Step 1 : Register for an account. Click here to go to the registration page or click on the Register link in the upper left hand section of any page. Fill out the required information including your email address, password and mailing address. Be sure to make a note of your username and password as you will need this to continue. After registering you will be asked to login for the first time.

Step 2 : You will now be at your FSBO portal. To list your house, click List a New Property under General Options. Fill out the form including street address, details of the house, room dimensions, and any descriptions you think will help the house sell quickly. Also enter your asking price for the property. You can change any of this information at any time.

Step 3 : Upload Pictures. Click the upload pictures link next to your property listing. Follow the instructions and upload up to 6 pictures. You also have the option of having us come out to photograph your home for a $25 fee to cover time and transportation costs. However, we should point out that it is significantly cheaper to either buy a roll of film or a disposable camera, take pictures of your home, develop the film and send the prints to us through the mail. This way, you can select the prints that best represent the way you view your home and are most likely to be effective

Step 4 : Click the "List Your Home" button at the bottom of the page. Your listing will be instantly activated and added to the live search database.


You have now completed the process and you home will be listed with FSBOMetroDenver.com! If you submitted all of your information and payment online, you listing will appear on the website instantly. If you submitted your information, and payment through the mail, you listing will appear as soon as we receive everything, generally within 2-3 days.

When you Log In, you will be taken to your personalized Logged-In Seller page. From this page you can access several options, including the ability to edit your listing and sign up for open houses on our open house calendar. You will also see you personal listing number, which is the number that you will use when you contact any of our partner service providers, or place a classified ad in the newspaper. You can also see how many people have accessed your online listing by checking out your personal hit-counter.

Now that you have registered, you may want to prepare a brochure (read our Tips for Designing a Clear and Effective Sales Brochure), Then, you will want to prepare your home for showings. Regarding your personal information: You will be asked to provide your email address and physical address at two different points. The first time is when you register. This information will not be viewable to any third parties, and is only provided should we need to contact you regarding your account or listing. It is not displayed in your listing. Please use an address where you can be reached at if different from your property address. The second point at which you will be asked to provide an email and physical address is when filling out your listing. The physical address will be viewable, but the email address will not be, when entered into the box provided specifically for email addresses. We have a system which allows sellers to send you an email using a form on our website which does not display your email address. The only way for it to be visible is if you choose to include it in the "Comments from Seller" box.
